"Core Memory" is the representation of the RAMs used in computer science between the years 1955 and 1975. This memory is made up of a metallic frame and magnetic cores. Each Core represents 1 bit of data. Used during Apollo missions, magnetic Core Memory has the property of keeping information without power and resisting of cosmic radiation. The prin shown here are the "oversized" samples of a memory specially used in these missions. They reveal the unique structural character and the organization of the first digital traces left and developed by man.
